Genelo is a pretty interesting game, not very much exposure though. Little to no disparity between donator and non-donator features and options.(can buy most donator items in the marketplace) Lots of new features and locations since being updated to version 5.

Gal6 is a free, persistent browser based hard sci-fi round and turn based virtual arena, where six races found alliances and fight against each other to rule the one and undivided universe.

Very receptive GM and helpful and friendly forum and excellent wiki. Awesome text based RPG reminiscent of early Dungeons and Dragons. Amazing updates, both in quantity and quality. Try it and see for yourself.

Found up to 4 cities and trade the goods they produce with other players in order to eventually achieve immortality as a Pharaoh.

It's a super hero themed rpg heavily influenced by Kingdom of Loathing.

A little bit hard, but full of mission and fun.

I was looking through the list and IMO, Hobowars should be right up there with Kingdom of Loathing, rather than just an honorable mention. I've played Hobowars for over a year. The game staff and the general population are very dedicated to the game and it's always being improved on.

I like Hobowars for the effort I need t put in, the humor and the generally more competent crowd of people. I mean, many online games are full of 13 year olds, whereas many of the members of Hobowars are in their 20s-40's.

Still Beta, but totally playable.

http://www.thecontinuum.com/ looks like a strat, and might be a better bet for that section (which is still pretty much unmanaged *sigh*).

http://www.armoredlegion.com/ offered far too many security concerns for my comfort. Sure it's 3D, but it seems that there is really very little interaction with other players in-game. The idea behind a PBBG is that like an MMORPG, the "massive" part is a huge consideration and if there is little to no player interaction, then it might as well be a single player flash game.

Perenthia is a persistent browser based game set in a fantasy world. Players can choose from a variety of professions, participate in quests and interact with other players from displaying special items, chatting, to mass spells and abilities. The game is still under development and an early beta 1/prototype has been released. The beta 2 release which will contain the features for the final release is scheduled for first quarter of 2008.

Still surprised about its complexitiy and deepness of the five pillars and learning/improving skill.
Normal and jump server started a few days ago and I am now trying out to optimise the elemental race.

Due to the ingame chat system, wiki, mentoring system and the active community its easy for new players to dive in.

I had suggested the shadowtale game but I now realise that it has significant disadvantages to non paying players (such as you cant continue the main plotline).

RPG and STRATEGY 100% flash pushes the limits like you have never seen, Dev's on all the time and implement player suggestions rapidly, you must check this game.

It is one of the larger games of it's kind. I'm surprised it's not on your list already.
